Why i'm getting a warning 1021 even after  changing The maximum number of connections per source (Unlimited) ?
The maximum number of connections per source (Unlimited) for this connector has been reached by this source IP address.

Hi Arun,

In order to figure out the source of the problematic IP, we need to collect the following logs:

  1. Detail messages of the Error 1021 including the blocked IP address.
  2. Protocol log. We can search the specific IP address in the log to find more information about the sender. Here is the reference of Using the EAC to configure protocol logging.

Besides, use the command below to verify if they are set as expected:

Get-ReceiveConnector -Identity "this connector name" | select Message*,MaxInbound*

Hey,

I know this is an old post - but this was definitely not answered. The core of the question is not about the problematic source ip (I think the original poster just didn't want to provide it), but rather how can it be that the connection limit was reached when the limit is "Unlimited"?

Thanks,

Mark
